Although primarily an oil painter, Anna works in a range of media, including watercolor, gold leaf, drawing, and text. She is fascinated by the juxtaposition of apparently opposing materials and ideas, such as precious and commonplace, abstract and representational, beautiful and broken, sacred and mundane.
